He then lost his tenancy and we were made homeless we were stopping at a friend’s house in Worcester and we got told we had to move out so my friend suggested we try and get into St Pauls Hostel and after going down there a couple of times I got in July 09. I was then given a key worker who told me about the hostel and what goes on and there was a kitchen referral scheme going on, which was ideal for me because I had always enjoyed cooking and had done a course at college. I had a chat with the chef who told me about the aims off the scheme and I filled in a referral September 09.

I started in the kitchen and I really enjoyed it and I got on really well with the chef and after I while he started knocking my door to get me up to start in the kitchen.
