Soup Challenge

For Some People Everyday is Boxing Day

We’ve all seen the news these past few weeks, shivered at images of snow and ice and thanked God that we are safe and warm.

But what of the people with nowhere to go?

No home, no job, no family or friends to turn to.

What of them this Christmas?

Join the St Paul’s Soup Challenge

St Paul’s Hostel is once again running a Winter Shelter and we need your help – we need your soup!

Running every night from now until the end of March in Maggs Day Centre the project provides shelter, warmth, help with housing and other issues and… SOUP!

This is a race to raise the most tins of soup between now and Boxing Day.

Place your tins in the box or bring direct to St Paul’s or Maggs but be sure to leave your name and address on the stickers provided – there’s a prize for the person who donates the most and we will be publishing a league table of participating churches and individuals.

Get going and make a souper difference this Christmas!

thankyou st pauls hostel.
my names aaron jenkins I was currently living in maggs day center for five nights in a row, thanx to st pauls hostel they helped me with a bed in a shared room & have now got me back on track to a fresh start, I have been living in st pauls hostel for 8 days in a row now & already I have settled in, mixed with other residents and made new friends.

I get breakfast & dinner aswell as desert and on top of that playing pool, keeping in touch with family & friends on the internet for free.

I enjoy being at st pauls as they make sure i'm ok & help me move on into my own accomodation.
