Well, the Rugby Fundraiser was a great success! There were one or two setbacks, mainly SNOW! The match was postponed from Jan to April, but we still managed to pack the house!

We raised over £2500 with more than 250 tickets sold!
The auction also raised a goodly amount!

The Big Sleep Out 2010

This year's BIG SLEEP OUT is to take place in September. We will still use BIG boxes, still provide soup for supper, and bacon rolls for breakfast! This year we will focus on the reality of the hardship faced by people who have to sleep rough. There are still many people in this county who find themselves with no alternative.

St Paul's Hostel, and the new WHIT team are there to support and assist these people.

The date for the SLEEPOUT will be announced very soon.

Please join us for a night you won't forget quickly!!

The Mayor comes to the Hostel

In February 09, the Mayor, Lucy Hodgson, came up the hostel to help serve the evening meal. The hostel uses two volunteers every evening to help serve and clear up the evening meal. Here, she is serving Sam.

Who we are

We are the Direct Access Hostel itself, the Resettlement Project and the Dry House, providing a vital service to community.

What you can do for us

St Paul's Hostel uses volunteers, and we always have vacancies for more people to join our teams.

The Fund Raising Group devise and organise events on a yearly basis. Some are fundraising, and some are awareness raising.

We are always happy to accept donations which go towards the Resident's Fund, unless otherwise stated.

Admittance policy

The hostel operates on a first come first served basis. However, if you are on route to the hostel, ring up, and if there is a vacancy, a bed will be held for you until an agreed time on the same day.
